How to overcome constant mental fatigue?
Have you ever felt so numb and lifeless you just went through the day doing basic things, sometimes not even that?
Sometimes we may find ourselves tired, even without doing any much heavy work. There is a lingering hopelessness, numbness we may be feeling though physically it looks like everything is fine.
This numbing is the attempt of the brain to bring safety and relaxation into the system when the mental heavy lifting is too much.
There may be something in your life which feels too confusing, or maybe you feel stuck, or you have used all your excuses or solutions and can no longer find a way forwards.
Sometimes it may be the chore of constant caretaking, meeting other's demands, or your own goals and standards that has led to your burn-out.
Take a paper out and write answers to these questions:
1. WHAT IS NOT HELPING ME?
What are your behaviors, attitudes and emotional states that are not helping you? Write it down.
2. WHAT IS A REALITY I AM AFRAID TO FACE?
It could be about acknowledging something about your life or relationships, like a diagnosis you received about yourself or someone you love.
3. WHAT IS A CHANGE I AM AFRAID TO MAKE?
Maybe it's about changing your diet, or even your circle of friends.
4. WHAT IS SOMETHING YOU WOULD TELL A FRIEND IN THIS SITUATION?
Life beats every single one of us. It is filled with suffering and meaning too. How would you view this situation for a friend? How can you help them find meaning?
5. WHAT ARE SKILLS ABOUT YOURSELF THAT HELPED YOU FIGHT THE BIG-FIGHT SO FAR?
You are in this situation not because you are weak or lack skills. It's because you were strong for too long. Among everything that happened, what are things you really helped you survive all the days that you did?
6. WHAT ARE LESSONS/SKILLS THAT YOU CAN LEARN TO CROSS THIS PHASE?
Would it help to learn emotional resilience? Would it help to learn how to navigate emotional triggers, or about acceptance and forgiveness? Write a few keywords and learn about them.
7. WHAT ARE ACTIONS YOU NEED TO BE COMMITTED TO CROSS THIS PHASE?
Are there any practices that can help you, like may exercise, taking medications on time, or simply sticking to learning the skills you just wrote?
8. WHO ARE PEOPLE WHO CARE OR CAN HELP YOU IN THIS PHASE?
You can name doctors, therapists, or friends and family.
9. WHAT KEEPS YOU COMMITTED TO IMPROVE YOUR SITUATION?
You are here because of a reason you hold deeply valuable or committed to. Write it down.
10. HOW COMMITTED ARE YOU FOR A POSITIVE CHANGE?
Write your answer.
☀ Ensure there is adequate rest, with gentle movements in your body through walking or any form for gentle stretches/exercises every single day.
If this could help you or anyone you know, you can forward.

I have now found courage and confidence to talk about my story
ReplyDeleteIn late 2020 I was so desperate to find what I knew where part of my battle with HSV2.
My life turned into chaos. I had one beautiful child during that chaos. In 2021 social services kept saying I’m impulsive uncontrollably emotional I kept saying I need to put back on medication I have HSV2 they got many experts who said I am always going to be like this I’m never going to change and it’s not HSV2 I still knew it’s HSV2 I need treatment, I needed management yet they disagreed.
Thanks to Asha Osemudiamen the herbal medicine cures the hpv that was in my body for years completely without side effects.
